That's strange, I'm not sure what would cause that. Unless - is this happening with a specific song that happens to have an Audio track with a metronome? Or does it happen with any song?
With Band-in-a-Box closed, please find the intrface.bbm file in the 'Applications/Band-in-a-Box/Preferences' folder. Zip this file (right-click on it and compress), and then email this zip file as an attachment to support with a message to refer to this forum thread.
You can then try renaming the file intrface_old.bbm and running Band-in-a-Box to see if the problem happens with default settings.

The XPro & Xtra Styles PAKs are not included in any Band-in-a-Box® package.

They will not work with the Pro or MegaPAK version as they require the RealTracks included in the UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, or Audiophile Edition.
