Yep, I have recommended those Sony headphones a few times. You'd be surprised just how many songs I have mixed on mine.

I'm with you on the "read it, forgot it" thing.

Regarding missing the deal, you can call one of the agents and ask for the deal.... Give them a sob story if necessary about how your pet turtle died and you've been wracked with grief, curled up in the fetal position crying and missed the deadline...... If they tell you to pay up or pound sand, well it was worth a phone call.
