It amazing how 3 chord blues stands the test of time! Never gets old!
That velvet voice of Janice's was the perfect touch here!
You know a singer is good when they record doubled vocals and they aren't a distraction.
They sit very well in this one.
Peter once again laid down some sizzling guitar lines
A very good, professionally done production that sounds super to me!

FANTASTIC blues song! Janice's vocals are absolutely perfect for this genre, plus I love Pete's guitar solo.
One of my all time favourite blues songs, in part for the arrangement and superb instrumental break, is Moby Grape's "Miller's Blues" from the late 60s. I think Pete would appreciate the guitar solo.

Morning folks,
8 bar blues are always fun to play, and the 8 bar format works very well with slower tempos too IMHO.
Janice sounds fabulous, and Peter does too, I especially liked his second solo.
Good one you three, enjoyed! Our introduction to the eight bar was Key To The Highway and even earlier some of Bessie Smith’s songs. We’ve always felt a slow 8 bar works well in a 12-8. It got placed on a popular slow blues Spotify list today. Thanks for mentioning the vocal and the solo. Comments like you made are sooooo meaningful coming from a great blues man. Thank you! J&B

You know that I love the blues so you know that I will love these blues!
As usual outstanding vocal, arrangement, guitar leads, and mix.
This is better than many of the songs on Alligator records.
Loved everything about this song
I arrived early to a restaurant.

Ah, what a great vehicle for Peter to drive. Janice singing (like no one else can) Bud's lyrics (written like no one else can), and Peter at the wheel with a 6-string shift.
Oh, yeah, this is definitely MY kind of genre. I dig those punny --no funny-- lyrics. Thanks for writing this one guys. What a treat!!! And what a treat to read all that from a fine blues man. Hi Bud, Janice and Peter,
I don't know why you said at first: "I know, it's not everyone's taste," and then came up with this!!!
And I also see that everyone here is saying about the same thing. So you said it on purpose, Bud... You wanted to provoke these reactions, of course. Well, you succeeded. With flying colors!
Let me start with Peter; amazing guitar playing, man! I thought it was truly fantastic! Your fingers must be completely worn down after that battle with the strings! I assume you have a week off now, with those fingers in a bowl of lukewarm water...
And then Janice! You just keep singing with that velvety voice, as if the years don't play a part at all. Amazing! How do you manage this, time and time again? I assume you're secretly thinking a bit about my singing voice, right?
And then I come to Bud, the maestro of the mix and everything surrounding it. I immediately thought those drums sounded really wonderfully clear. How do you do that? Marty was talking about EZD, do you use that too?
Anyway, a lovely song and wonderfully presented!
You can be proud of yourselves,
