We didn’t hear it before the drum revision but we like what we hear.
And we do get what you mean about the driving toms reflecting the emotional turbulence.

Your vocals, as always, shine and the outro vocals with your smooth guitar provide a lovely ending.

While reading your brother’s fine lyric we thought of the other side of “what if’s” for when the person who really only wanted friendship but did not listen to their inner voice and instead committed to a relationship that they knew would fail.
