Here is a new song for May. Spring was kind of a slow start for us. Hit the Switch - Soundcloud Hit the Switch - Youtube The Band; Key=G , Tempo 80, Length (m:s)=4:12 No intro. 40 bar chorus, from bar 1 to bar 40. Repeat x2 choruses No Melody No Soloist track. Superb cornucopia of colors, Scott. So many different textures, and all of them really nice. Gorgeous progression and creative modulations. Super mix, too. I hear you on the "slow spring" thing. Sounds like you've caught up though.

Scott, those were some very impressive chops. The tone and effects on your axe was also very impressive. Great job on both of those. The backing band was perfect also.

Hi Scott!
I don’t know if you were aiming for ‘Wonderful land’ vibes on this piece, and if you were - bullseye! The pace, style and band is a great accompaniment to your guitar melody, and boy, is that melody good - always shifting tone and key to provide a pleasant surprise. As a young man, I used to listen to Mike Oldfield’s version of Wonderful Land alone in my bedroom with the volume turned way up, and it would cause me to quietly shed a few tears of joy, and your piece did the same just then. I haven’t been moved by an instrumental as much as this for a long time.

Some lovely tones on the guitar.
"Wonderful Land" does spring to mind.
I did wonder if there may be a synth and a strum clashing tonally.
Just a thought. Could be my ears.
