Hi Vic

This track is a masterclass in "don't let the door hit you on the way out" energy!

First off, I have to talk about that intro—those panned guitars were absolute perfection. I knew immediately that something fun and funky was heading my way, and you certainly didn’t disappoint. You’ve used those guitar RealTracks to great effect; they really lock in with that BroCountry drum groove to drive the song forward with a plucky, insistent energy that matches the lyrics perfectly.

And speaking of lyrics, talk about a "wronged man's anthem." Between the beer-keg furniture (which sounds surprisingly artisanal for a breakup song) and the dog-biting incident, I’m pretty sure our protagonist has every right to leave—raincoat or no raincoat! ⛈

Your vocal delivery really sells that "I’m done, and I’m taking my dignity with me" vibe. (ಠ⌣ಠ)

It’s definitely got that swaggering rock/funk/country blend that makes you want to turn the volume up, even if the guy in the song is having a rough time of it.

Great stuff, Vic. You managed to turn a messy breakup into a foot-tapping, head-bobbing track. I’d say "let 'em roll" is the perfect title—sometimes you just have to cut your losses, grab your guitar, and leave the beer kegs behind! ❤️‍🩹

Looking forward to hearing what else you’ve got brewing.

Izzy
