Because it used Scaler 3 in the email title. Scaler 3 is a good, useful app. I have a lot of MIDI and chord generators, some good, some not so good and some completely useless. I paid for all of them, so that's on me.

Melody Sauce 3 claims similar, but not as deep, functionality to Scaler 3, so why do I need it? For me, it would just be another one of those "tried it, then never used it again" apps. Out of the 1200+ plugins and standalone apps that I have, I maybe use 10% regularly. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me 1100 times? Yeah.

If Scaler 3 wasn't in the email title, I'd have just deleted it without reading it. To me, that is, by definition, clickbait.
