Break Down The Walls It’s been several years since we posted a reggae song so here’s a new one. It’s arranged in the typical classic reggae fashion with the “one drop” rhythm, i.e., little or no emphasis on the first drum beat and a snare or similar hit on the third beat. We provided a handclap for the third beat emphasis. After the solo we added Janice on cajon for a wee bit of a lift. At 17 tracks we have definitely exceeded our mix pay grade! And yep, classic reggae can be a bit redundant and outro fades are very common. So there!  The slightly tweaked lyric was written by Leon of Peter&Leon with Peter, of course, being our music partner and featured guitar player. Reggae always cheers me up, and so does your song. Janice sounds like she's been singing Reggae her whole life, and Peter does the same on the guitar. Perfect and tasty fills! Super mix, sounds radio-ready. Hi, J&B. Reggae with a social message? What's this world coming to?  17 tracks?! Wowzers. I didn't notice, because it just sounds like good music to me. All the usual suspects sound great, and that includes the mix. Thanks for the mix info, it helps fuel my gear lust.
