You really seem to "understand" country. It's a thang. Some people think they do but they don't. Country has a certain kind of swag and humor and feel that you either have or you don't. You have it. I don't. Not in my DNA. But I know it when I hear it. (I think I can write a decent country parody though, when I have Tater Totts up in here. grin)

Thanks David. I have written some pretty cheeky stuff in my time and some of it was parody.... Yellow Haze comes to mind.... This was written from the point of view, looking at the cliche songs about pickup trucks, bon-fires, candy eye babes, cold beer, and working all week just for the weekend. I forgot to say something about painted on bluejeans..... my bad.
