I feel your pain Herb. The only way to get a good MIDI drum track from BiaB is if the track has a RealChart. Then you just drag the track to the mid window in the DAW mode window. I have had zero success converting audio to MIDI in BiaB.

I have had good to excellent success when converting an audio drum track to a MIDI drum track in Melodyne Editor. That was using a complete audio drum kit. I would think it would be easier to use the stems; don't know as I don't use stems.

When I can't get good conversion results I grab Groovemonkee's MIDI drum loops. YMMV
