Good one, Andrew, I enjoyed the story, lots of fun, nice job on the video too.

Thanks Dave! It’s good to let fellow band members to shine, and sometimes that even includes bass guitarists! And regarding the story, I’ve always had a good imagination, which comes in handy when coupled with shallow life experience.
Thanks for listening!

Thanks Ron. I like to give my fingers a run occasionally. Being a bedroom strummer for my early years, playing alone, I taught myself how to mimic each song’s style as much as I could with only one instrument, so the ‘up strum’ in ska became part of my arsenal.

Careful, or you'll be a lyrics-first songwriter before you know it!
It’s still the hardest part for me that I have to work at. Many of my teen and early twenties songs remain unfinished due to lack of lyrics, or bad ones. I probably have around 50 or so ‘songs’ waiting for words that have sat there for years. One day.

Really enjoyed reading the details of the process you used. Fun stuff. (FWIW, Drop Station has been around for years so the comment about loving "this feature of BiaB 2026" was a wee bit baffling.)
Thanks Ron. I like reading about others’ methods and approaches as well. Regarding Drop Station, do you mean to tell me that my productivity has been sub-optimal for years? smile Seriously, I saw it in the top left corner of 2026 and thought it was a new feature!

Love the backstory as well. Awesome stuff!
Thanks Bob! You used the term ‘pop’ in the sense of how I understand pop, but which nowadays is used for Katie Perry, Taylor Swift and the like. In my view, ‘pop’ is best illustrated by the brilliant Beatles double A single of Strawberry Fields Forever and Penny Lane.

Thank you all for listening and commenting!
