Hi Marty!
Thanks for listening and your uplifting comments.

I’ve seen a few comments on the Forum of late that distinguish the audio quality between Soundcloud and YouTube. It is the same audio file I upload to Soundcloud as I use in my video - maybe Clipchamp (video editor) and/or YouTube degrade the quality in their processing? Allied to this, I realise that I have been using mp3 format for my SC and YT uploads but without any comment on quality - I don’t know why I did that. Maybe it stemmed from when I had a basic SC account and was trying to conserve space, but even that doesn’t make sense because SC had set limits for total tracks minutes - not upload size. Anyhow, I’m going to replace all my tracks on SC with .wav format so that listeners can hear my imperfect vocals in high fidelity! grin

The writing *was* a challenge, but I am glad I uncovered the backwards writing technique (reverse engineering lyrics from an end point) because I think that is going to prove handy in the future.

Re Mike’s song is a good one - best he’s written IMHO, but without evidence, that’s like me describing (in words only) the majesty of the Eiffel Tower. When the three of us meet, we reveal our songs, usually the person who set the challenge goes first, playing each person’s song twice or maybe three times. I’d like to get Mike to record his song as we have no copy to listen back to, but I try not to impose my desires on his time.
