Therefore, one must either adapt or pay a price because if there's anything that's constant . . . it's change. That's the sort of thing Reagan claimed when he "revamped" the US economy, (ie: made it heaven for the wealthy & a diminishing return for the worker). Every scam artist, Trump included, claims earth shaking progress when they are building the foundations of a pyramid scheme, Ponzi scheme or simple grift. The amount of misleading, obscuring and misdirecting stuff, not to mention the hyperbolic claims give way under the recruiting scheme, it's fees - $100 a session versus salaries - $25 a session and the mapped/planned expansion. More like Lawn Doctor than music education. It's as corrupt as Elon's Space X market projection and that's based on fictitious Grok income projections rather than Space. 60 Minutes involvement speaks reams about it's new direction. Ray, you do sound more than a tad embittered, disgruntled and jealous. Do you also have disdain and scorn for Thomas Edison, Alexander Graham Bell, Henry Ford and Samuel F. Morse? Like I say, adapt or pay a price; you can never stop change You also have another option that falls under the category of adapting . . . you do the inventing, producing, developing, changing or improving the current state. We had a useful saying in the engineering workforce that we'd use when appropriate . . . Lead, follow or get out of the way.

Ray, you do sound more than a tad embittered, disgruntled and jealous. Do you also have disdain and scorn for Thomas Edison, Alexander Graham Bell, Henry Ford and Samuel F. Morse? Why ask "Anyone have any experience with this method or have thoughts about it?" if you're going to attack those who you disagree with? This isn't a rebuttal of facts, it's an ad-hominim attack.

Because Ray is obviously embittered with Reagan and Elon's Space X; which is hardly the subject of this thread. And asking if he also has disdain for others is hardly an attack. It's a question David, a simple question.

Dear Bass Thumper, I provided examples of other scammers - the scale is different but the premise is the same. With all your flag waving, progress or be damned worship of folk who've made significant strides in many fields, (yet at significant cost to others, through nefarious means or who are in other ways very compromised people), you are, in essence, echoing "The American Way" which has always been propaganda for the very rich. Ronny & Elon are two clear & obvious examples of empowered liars who manipulate huge numbers of people into believing they were/are possessors of the keys to a better future, (have a look at how Musk is fudging figures for the Space X share release). Reagan did it because his strings were manipulated by his masters and Musk for the money. Edison the infamous "borrower": a patent clerk who raided patent applications, misfiled them and submitted is own copies. Bell the Scottish Canadian adopted American who had a patented submitted on the same day as Gray but through the favour & influence of his financial backers was processed earlier and therefore has the fame. Ford who in the Battle of the Overpass had his striking workers shot & killed, the famous antiSemite: "...convicted Hitler Youth leader Baldur von Schirach who, in his role as Gauleiter of Vienna, deported 65,000 Jews to camps in Poland, stated:"The decisive anti-Semitic book I was reading and the book that influenced my comrades was ... that book by Henry Ford, The International Jew. I read it and became anti-Semitic. The book made a great influence on me and my friends because we saw in Henry Ford the representative of success and also the representative of a progressive social policy", Morse obtained a patent on the electric telegraph in the USA AFTER two British fellows had done so in the UK. He was, like so many famous Americans, someone who obtained the fame because of where was lived and the financial power of his backers. You see, Bass Thumper, like so many people in the world I know quite a bit about American history because it has had an huge influence on the rest of the world. Those seen as charlatans in the wider world are often seen as revolutionary industrialists etc. in the United States. Your current president is the perfect example. It's your education system that causes this disparity...most nations favour their own and America takes that to the nth degree...of course. There is an axiom we in education often use: "open your eyes and ask questions". Naturally I made that up. How about "You're either with us or against us!|" or "Shut up, worm!"? Similar in meaning & intention to your engineering aphorism .

Similar in meaning & intention to your engineering aphorism . Ray, all this is waaay off topic but I’m game. I never said the historical figures I listed were perfect in all aspects of their lives. Truth be told, they were all flawed as is the case for all of us; but there are different degrees of flawness. I mentioned those individuals within the narrow context of technological progress and upheaval, much like Payam has caused some degree of upheaval by at least thinking about a better way to do something. His idea may in the end stink, but at least he is trying to move the ball down the field by getting children involved with the piano. And I could address your many historical inaccuracies one by one. But what jumped out is your admission that you “became anti-Semitic”. You say "open your eyes and ask questions", well, here are a few. What caused you to be filled with such bigotry and hatred for Jews? Is it jealousy and resentment that you were not a success musically? Is it bitterness associated with your socio-economic status? Were you unsuccessful in your chosen career while others advanced in theirs? Are you dismayed by the status of your country on the world stage when you see other countries rise? There must be some underlying stress or trauma that fills you with this hate. Who else do you hate? People of African descent? Italians? Native peoples? Women? The successful? And who has in their by-line "What's so funny about peace, love & understanding?"? Let me be clear, I oppose hatred, bigotry and discrimination in all its ugly forms. So to all the Jews on this forum, to all the Jews on the PGMusic staff, and to all the Jews elsewhere, I am one human that does not hate you. Some of my best friends happen to be Jewish. I’m appalled that no one else is standing up against bigotry and antisemitism, silence is complicity and support.

202 New RealTracks Released with Band-in-a-Box 2026!
With Band-in-a-Box® 2026, we've released 202 incredible new RealTracks (in sets 468-488) in a variety of genres—featuring your most requested styles!
Jazz, Funk & World (Sets 468-475):
Our new jazz, funk & blues RealTracks include a groovin’ collection of RealTracks and RealDrums! These include more requested “soul jazz” RealTracks featuring artists Neil Swainson (bass), Charles Treadway (organ), Brent Mason (guitar), and Wes Little (drums). There are new “smooth jazz” styles (4), which include a RealTracks first: muted trumpet, as well as slick new smooth jazz brushes options for drums. Blues lovers will be thrilled—there are more “classic acoustic blues” styles, including guitar (5), bass (4), and drums (10) with blues master Colin Linden, featuring understated and tasty background acoustic soloing, plus brushes drums and acoustic bass. There are also new electric blues RealTracks, including electric blues with PG favorite Johnny Hiland (3) and soulful electric slide guitar from Colin Linden (4). If you love funk & gospel, there are great new options this year, including gospel organ (3) from Charles Treadway, as well as new funk, tango, and rock ’n’ roll drums (3) and bass (1). And for big, bold arrangements, we have uptempo soul horns (4) featuring a three-part hip horn section with options for a full mix or stems of each individual horn — plus an accompanying rhythm section (4) of drums, bass, guitar, and electric piano!
Rock & Pop (Sets 476–482):
Our new rock & pop RealTracks bring a powerful mix of requested favorites, fresh genres, and modern chart-inspired styles! We have more of our popular “Producer Layered Acoustic Guitars (15)” featuring Band-in-a-Box favorite Brent Mason. We’ve continued our much-requested disco styles (10), and added new Celtic guitar (5) with a more basic, accessible approach than our previous Drop-D or DADGAD offerings. There are also highly requested yacht rock styles (17), inspired by the smooth, polished soft-rock sound of the late ’70s and early ’80s — laid-back grooves, silky electric pianos, warm textures, elegant harmonic movement, and pristine production aesthetics. Fans of heavier styles will love our new glam metal (13), capturing the flashy, high-energy sound of ’80s arena-ready guitar rock. We also have a set of rootsy modern-folk rock (18), with a warm, organic sound combining contemporary folk textures and driving acoustic strumming. And we’ve added lots of new modern pop styles (16) — the kinds of sounds you’re hearing on the radio today, featuring exciting new drums, synths, and cutting-edge RealTracks arrangements.
Country, & Americana (Sets 483–488):
Our new country & Americana RealTracks deliver a rich collection of acoustic, electric, and roots-inspired styles! We have new country pop (9) with legendary guitarist Brent Mason. There is also a potpourri (14) of bouzouki, guitars, banjo, and more, perfect for adding texture and character to contemporary acoustic arrangements. We’ve added funky country guitar (5) with PG favorite Brent Mason, along with classic pedal steel styles (5) featuring steel great Doug Jernigan. There are more country songwriter styles (8) that provide intimate, rootsy foundations for storytelling and modern Americana writing. Finally, we have “background soloing” acoustic guitar (12) with Brent Mason — simpler, but still very tasty acoustic lines designed to sit beautifully behind vocals or act as a subtle standalone solo part.
Check out all the 202 new RealTracks (in sets 468-488)!
And, if you are looking for more, the 2026 49-PAK (for $49) includes an impressive collection of 20 bonus RealTracks, featuring exciting and inspiring additions to add to your RealTracks library. You'll get new country-rhythm guitar styles from PG Music favorites Johnny Hiland and Brent Mason, along with modern-pop grooves that capture today’s radio-ready sound! There are also new indie-folk styles with guitar, bass, 6-string bass used as a high-chording instrument, acoustic guitar, and banjo. Plus, dedicated "cymbal fills" RealDrums provide an added layer that work very well with low-key folky styles with other percussion.
