the app is for playing live or practicing for playing live, or heck just playing for fun. It is an app that scrolls PDFs sheets, or you can also scroll google sheets if you want (that takes a step or two) and links them to an MP3 file of backing tracks. I know there are several out there but i have found most to be either way to complicated or way to simple. The test subject is the "Lite" it does what i is described in above. the app is not an app store ready app it is a simple https file that should work on any browser and should open a browser even offline with no internet. Keeping it lite on resources. it has a built-in import export so you can create a desktop folder to store your song list and them import it there, or export new songs that you create to play. If you are interested, please send your email address to rlhelms@icloud.com. Side note this was developed with Band in a Box created files in mind. I have currently about 20 or more i have created using BiaB to make my MP3 files. and matching PDFs .

The idea is to test specifically:

Add 5-10 real songs they actually play
Attach a PDF chart and use it in performance mode
Try the auto-scroll with an MP3 backing track
Build a setlist and run through it start to finish
On iPhone — install it to the home screen and use it from there

What to report:

Anything that doesn't work on their specific device
Anything confusing or hard to find
Features they wish it had
Whether the scroll speed feels right with real music
