Thanks Bob! I am so fortunate that I live in a time and place where I can write, record and share.

What a fun song, and i really like your choice of chords. You are such a good writer, Andrew. I can imagine you walking around lost in the songs swirling in your head, and am so thankful you share them here. Another fun one.
Thanks Marty - I’m glad you (and Bob and Janne) enjoyed the production notes. This is one of four songs I had on the go at the same time (so that my mind didn’t grow stale working with the same song), so I kept track of what I was doing for this song. I tend to be a person that has something on in the background through all my waking hours, so I recently decided to not listen to anything while walking as a means of being more in touch with my surrounds, and as a mental reset. This song idea popped out on a walk.

Nice chord changes keep the song interesting to the end, F#m9 and Bm7b5 - well working choices!
Enjoyable vocals with great harmonies. The arrangement is pleasantly smooth, there are also several interesting details like sitar.
Thanks for sharing your development notes, nice to read about your background and songwriting methods.
I've never been to Omaha either, but I've written an instrumental called "Omaha Beach".
Thanks Janne! I’d been immersing myself in The Jayhawks about a year ago, so that would be the influence there - same as for Macca - been listening to ‘The boys of Dungeon Lane’ last week. For the bridge, I felt it needed a drone-like quality, and I remembered I had found one in BIAB when working on a song idea inspired by George Harrison’s ‘Within You, Without You’ - an idea waiting for time and space.

Thank you Mario! I don’t know if others suffer from this, but whenever I am finishing a song, I always have a sense of imposter syndrome and that my song is going to fall flat. There’s still time!

Thank you all for listening and commenting.
