I like the song. It's got that easy going country rock groove with a chorus melody that lends itself well to killer harmony.

You didn't list the tracks and instruments you used but that doesn't matter at this point.

I'll make a couple of personal observations on the mix. All of them are my opinion.

You have a guitar in the mix, I'm assuming you're playing it? It's brighter and more forward in the mix than everything else. There's a few places where you sweep the chord and it's really loud.

To my ears, and this might be due to my high frequency attinuation but I don't think so. The mix seems a little top end rolled off, except the guitar I mentioned earlier. I like to put EQ on my acoustic guitar tracks and electric guitar to a point, to accentuate the higher harmonics of that acoustic guitar.

The vocals. In my opinion, I would like to have heard them up front a little more and again with some high end polish. I'm rarely a fan of really prominent harmony, you know, like barber shop quartet and Southern Gospel, but in this case I would definitely consider raising the harmonies to the point of being able to hear the distinct voices, kinda like the Eagles on Lying Eyes or so many of their other harmony rich songs.

IMHO, the mix is probably 80% there. Good, but could be polished up. At this point, the changes are subtle.

All in all, this is a good song and a good mix.
