You're conflating this with generative AI like Suno, which was trained on music without either compensating the musicians or even giving them the choice to opt-out.

That's not the case for something like SynthV, which hires singers and runs locally.

It's likely not the case with ACE Studio, which also pays musicians, although it doesn't run locally.

That said, your likely to get the best results using an actual singer. SynthV isn't going to fool a discerning ear, and ACE Studio even less. Suno is - to my ear - just a bit too perfect and over-produced. That's especially true for country vocals.

I'm not trying to fool anyone with SynthV vocals. I treat it as a tool to demo my songs. A more ideal situation would be to use something like SynthV to work out a song, and create a guide track for a singer.

But getting the right singer on Fivver or somewhere similar can be problematic, too. There have been posts on the forum about that as well.

Anyway, there's a big difference between different AI voices, and lumping them together as of they were all the same isn't really fair.

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?
