Thanks David, I always appreciate you input.

I certainly realize that my current selection of songs comes with a high degree of difficulty. Fact is, in the past I was very careful at selecting songs which I knew I could sing. It was very limiting, but I do know my limitations. However, there have been occasions when I did not select the song, but I felt the song was selecting me. So I needed to step up my game. There was one time early on when K advised me to set a song aside until I had more control of my support. So, I did exactly as you (and she) suggested, and switched gears to songs with less technical challenge so I could work on other important aspects of vocal performance.

I re-sang Father and Son and My Way and All Ways On My Mind all from my older catalog. These K was able to help me bring up into my "upper chest voice" away from my "deep Resonance", but no "mixed voice" was needed. But now I am back to songs which require mixed-voice. I feel my support has been improving which permits the mixed voice along with a broader vocal range.

Thanks again for weighing in on this journey of mine.

Dan
