Hi everyone!
I’m so happy to be back on the forum after a while and to share a new track with you.
I’m really sorry that I’ve only been able to follow the many great songs
here partially lately – but that’s just how it goes sometimes, and calmer times will come again!
I finally had the opportunity to produce a new song with the Sound Guardians.
However, for the first time, this isn't one of my own songs,
but a slightly older one by DeeJ called "Light It Up".
He wasn't completely happy with it originally, so we decided to give the track a second chance.
While I kept the original BiaB structure completely intact, I rebuilt everything else from scratch.
I decided to turn it into a rock ballad where all the Guardians could truly shine:

• Marty: He once again contributed an absolutely exceptional bass track.
• Wolle: He catapulted the song to the next level with his guitar fill-ins and solos.
• Shigeki: He proved his absolute exceptional talent with his strings on a track that isn't necessarily ideal for them.
• DeeJ: He wrote this fantastic song and polished his vocal tracks with excellent background vocals.

I really struggled to work on a song that I didn’t write myself.
It felt a bit unnatural and took me out of my comfort zone.
However, as the weeks went by, I slowly started to get more and more ideas.
It’s amazing how much the track has evolved since we started!
