Hi Jim,

Yes, sorry. My fault entirely. My frustration crept into the post.

I have a number of things I've tried to do as workarounds, which when handling only chords seem to work just fine, but when I'm trying also to include a melody, the latter often scrambled in what appear to me to be unpredictable ways. That might be clumsiness or misunderstanding on my part, but I do find it tricky to prove "what just happened?".

As an example, one recent attempt to merge two choruses back into a folded song resulted in bars five and six of the melody in the second chorus just disappearing somewhere, leaving melody and chords out of sync. The tag/coda was similarly confused. I fixed the melody just by copying again chorus 1 to chorus two. I can't remember how I fixed the tag ... possibly just writing the notes again. Unfortunately, so many things behave oddly that I'm unclear if it's operator error, bug, or something else.

The reason for the Wish at this particular time is not just that I think it should just allow early exit and/or tag from a single chorus song, but also that my many attempted workarounds so often seem to not actually work.

I did consider asking how other people worked around this, but I checked post history and see I've asked three timers before, with the best workaround being to use the piano roll instead of notation.
