My musical journey has led me down many different roads to produce top notch demos of songs that I've written. Not being a professional musician or singer there are massive limitations to being able to produce competitive demos. As Herb mentioned spending several hundred dollars to produce one demo is out of the question, let alone for hundred of compositions. So what are we to do? Forget about recording? Produce low level inadequate demos and songs? No, there are tools out there available to all of us at very minimal costs. BiaB is one of them. It has paid for itself time and time again. Synthesizer V has done the same for me...as well as Suno. The money I have put out for them is about the cost of three or four pro quality studio demos. And I've recorded over 800 original compositions using these TOOLS.

Now I've played in bands, written songs and recorded for the last 50 years, but time has stolen my voice from me, so my choices are to stop recording or find someone or something else to help me do what I love doing. I understand the frightening and challenging aspects of AI but also see its potential. With AI...me...the fledgling, wanna be songwriter can now produce near radio quality songs by using software based and AI programs to "cover" my music. I simply present my rough, homemade recording to the AI engine and it gives me a professional quality demo of my song. And as for me...that's what I want...and need. And though I wish I could have done that myself...not possible. But fortunately for me we live in a time when that's possible. Just wish it had shown up 30 years ago because now you can clone your own voice (though I've never really enjoyed the sound of my own voice). AI is like a hammer which can be used as a terrific tool for building things but it can be a terrible weapon as well. I'm trying to build some good stuff with it!
