Hey Guys It's been a good long while since my last post. I haven't written much in the last couple of years. My wife's stroke (almost two years ago) really changed our lives and my priorities. So I've spent that time out of the studio and in the bedroom with my laptop cataloging and trying to get all the songs I've written down through the years recorded in some fashion. I just recorded my 800th recording on my page at Soundclick. Anyway, I'm rambling...I think that chore maybe finished...so I've starting writing again. I haven't had the time to use BiaB to create new stuff so I've used an AI program to create again. Just writing the lyrics and a simple melody is time consuming enough these days. Good one, Dan! I like the pared back section that then builds back up with ‘… carried me’. I hope one day we will hear you sing - or did you? Great lyrics that deserve to be sung by the writer. BTW thanks for the context of what you and your wife have been going through - sounds like you’ve very faithful.

I, too, have been absent for quite some time. I sincerely hope your wife is making progress in her recovery - it's a long process. She'll be in my thoughts and prayers tonight.
Another terrific song from you. Your music is always a delight - so well conceived and presented. It was a true pleasure to listen to.
I had a really bad accident back in early April after returning from a couple of months out of country. - been oin and out of the hospital but doing pretty good now.

801 songs? Wow! I'll be happy if I even reach 80. At about one song a month, it will take me about 50 years. "801" is a truly beautiful song with lovely lyrics that convey a beautiful message. With Band-in-a-Box® 2026, we've released 202 incredible new RealTracks (in sets 468-488) in a variety of genres—featuring your most requested styles!
Jazz, Funk & World (Sets 468-475):
Our new jazz, funk & blues RealTracks include a groovin’ collection of RealTracks and RealDrums! These include more requested “soul jazz” RealTracks featuring artists Neil Swainson (bass), Charles Treadway (organ), Brent Mason (guitar), and Wes Little (drums). There are new “smooth jazz” styles (4), which include a RealTracks first: muted trumpet, as well as slick new smooth jazz brushes options for drums. Blues lovers will be thrilled—there are more “classic acoustic blues” styles, including guitar (5), bass (4), and drums (10) with blues master Colin Linden, featuring understated and tasty background acoustic soloing, plus brushes drums and acoustic bass. There is also a potpourri (14) of bouzouki, guitars, banjo, and more, perfect for adding texture and character to contemporary acoustic arrangements. We’ve added funky country guitar (5) with PG favorite Brent Mason, along with classic pedal steel styles (5) featuring steel great Doug Jernigan. There are more country songwriter styles (8) that provide intimate, rootsy foundations for storytelling and modern Americana writing.
