I was interested in your app, so I clicked on your link to see what it was about. In that process, I thought of a few suggestions from the perspective of a "user" who has never laid eyes on your app (or any other "app" that installs in a browser). I'm using edge on a win 11 laptop, so that's the platform of the installation.

I ran the install routine after determining that the install directions were just a little bit off. A complete computer illiterate (my spouse) would probably have given up. Here's my suggestion for a more clear install instructions (for Edge):

🪟 Windows Edge
The app is the link [ https://chordbooklite.surge.sh/ ] to be pasted into your address bar if it doesn't already appear there.
Open the app in Edge by pressing [ Enter ]
Edge: click the ⋯ "menu" (three dots in the upper right) → "More Tools" > "Apps" → "Install this site as an app"
Click Install and when finished, the app appears in your Start menu and taskbar ✅

(The "More Tools" submenu selection was missing in the instructions)

The next thing I determined is that the songs listed were apparently only text with no actual pdf's or song files for testing. That kind of put the brakes on my testing plans for the app, since I'm not able to dig around for a pdf and matching mp3 to test with. It would be helpful if there were a link on your website for a few files to download for testing just to see and get a feel of how the program runs.

One thing I did notice is that the error screen for a missing pdf file had dark red text on dark grey. That was almost impossible to read on my laptop.

Also, there is a button in the upper left that says EXIT. I was seeking a way to return to the main screen and I debated if EXIT meant "close the program" or "return to previous", or whatever. After pressing EXIT I found that it was to return to previous. Perhaps BACK might be an alternative (thinking for my spouse)

Finally, a YT video showing installation, using the app and the features would be extra slick. Kinda gives a jump-start on how to and what to do.

Not criticizing at all, it sounds like a neat program. Your request was for input, so I hope this helps.
