Once you identify the connection, please let me know. I’m half inclined to think my subconscious is trying to tell me something.

I think the stripped back and clean arrangement works really well, as it gives the listener a good chance to hear the disconnections and mess with their thought processes.
I didn’t want too much clutter, thinking ‘less is more’ but hadn’t thought how this might help the listener - I’ll have to keep this in mind for future!

I'm always surprised how all three of us have completely different takes on the same challenge, it’s good.

What? I have never heard such complete and utter nonsense! So you have absolutely nailed this months brief Andrew.
I think I’ve always had a propensity for nonsense - or is that a proclivity? In recognition of your comment, I’ve just nailed my briefs to the wall.grin

We’re drinking Australian made coffee - I mostly have a ‘flat white’ (think cappuccino without the froth) or ‘dirty chai’ (a chai latte with a shot of coffee). We’re cut from the same cloth in so many ways and have been influencing each other for over 50 years albeit with a hiatus in the middle. What a blessing to have a long-term friendship!

‘Delightfully confusing’ … we could almost say enigmatic, and I’ve always wanted to be an enigma.

I’m taking that as a compliment!

In my early 20s I went through a period of writing 'nonsense' poetry, though it was more like surrealism. One poem is titled "Gentleness or The Wood To Wood Coast Turpentine of Palomino Spectroscope"! laugh Maybe I should compose an instrumental with the same title?! laugh
It would be interesting to hear how you interpret this musically, and whether you have sufficient graphics in your home-grown library! grin … and good use of the interrobang in your response!

Thank you Lee, Mario, James, David and Chay for listening and commenting!
