I partially agree, I can generally hear all of the quality issues you mention, but even with that "halfway decent and get the job done.." can be pretty damn good. I understand this is likely not what pro players and producers are looking for, but most of us are not pros. The source was a Youtube video. I extracted two stems, 1) Vocal and 2) the guitar (the rest). There were no other instruments in the original song. The only original content in my cover is the guitar stem. I admit it is weak at times and has artifacts (very minimal). I have done what I can to mask any quality issues. In my opinion "halfway decent does get the job done". Listen and comment if you care to.
