Another choice in BIAB is section text letters (which I know as rehearsal letters). These are limited to a single letter like A, B etc. but I sometimes use letters like I for Intro, T for Tag, and S for Solo since the letters do not have to be in order. Letters can be repeated, so you could have V, V, C for two verses and s chorus.

I’m not at a computer but Right-click on the beginning of a bar. The pull-down to select the letter is at the bottom.

I use Matt's method and yes it does show those text letters in notation.
