Hi Izzy!
I learned something today about Soundcloud - my 8 listens don’t show up in the ‘first fans’ because I hadn’t hit the ‘like’/add to my library button, but they’re there in the 46 listens total.

Your song has a good pedestrian pace which my mind finds somewhat at odds with the concept of a motorcycle ride. I’m not one to know really as I’ve never ridden a motorbike and have no intention of starting. Maybe cruising is like this when you’re in the seat and able to let the passing images germinate some thoughts?

I like the line ‘White bones standing in defeat’ - so true when you see them half-buried there. The style reminded me of an Aussie country singer whose name escapes me now, who once did a duet with James Reyne ‘Way out west’. The part of the song I wasn’t sure about was the fiddle solo - it spoke more Americana to me than Aussie outback. That got me thinking - what *would* be an instrument that conjured up Aussie outback? I probably would’ve gone with acoustic guitar solo or maybe a baritone guitar with a touch of tremolo, or maybe even a twang guitar playing double notes with a touch of reverb?

Good doubling and harmonies on the vocals as usual for you.

A good song, but maybe not the lofty heights of I’ll be your fool IMHO.
