Hi Bob, as I previously mentioned there still is the 0-127 and 1-128 numbering systems but that has nothing to do with MIDI note standings. Middle C is always MIDI note 60. The 128 steps in 0-127 or 1-128 refer to the steps in a MIDI Continuous Controller. MIDI note numbers and MIDI CC numbers are two completely different things.
