After having set bar 10 to 2-4, BIAB now adjusts all the bars so that the barlines occur on beat 3 of the remaining 4-4 bars. This means, that what is currently shown as the barline at the beginning of bar 11 in ACW is actually beat 3 in bar 11.

To fix this, I did the following:–

4) At this point in time, the Automarking is active. I now dragged the bar-11 barline to the correct location.
The tempo for bar 10 will change. When this is 120 bpm, the barline is in the correct location. As before, if you need finer numerical adjustments, zoom-in before dragging. Barline 11 will then turn purple to indicate that it has been manually set.

5) Deactivate/uncheck Automarking and manually set bar 12 so that the tempo for bar 11 reads 120 bpm. When the barline is set, reactivate/check Automarking.
(Note: When Automarking is goes from active (checked) to non-active (unchecked), all the barlines to the left of the last-added manual barline will be converted to manual barlines and the automatically added barlines will be removed. When Automarking is then reactivated (checked), new automatic barlines are added with the tempo set by the last manually created tempo: in this case, 120bpm.)

At this stage, through combining manual adjustments and Automarking, BIAB now has the audio file set-up correctly. In light of this, I suspect that it was at step 3) where things started to go haywire for you. To overcome this, I manually set the bar that followed the 2/4 bar so that the 2/4 bar was the correct tempo. Then when I reactivated Automarking, the subsequent barlines and tempos were set correctly. I hope that this information helps.

I'll refer this thread to the PG Music developers. It may well be that the pathway I have taken to get to a solution is more involved than it needed to be. It is also possible that this information of yours and mine might help Team PGM streamline the ACW process the next time they revisit updating that section of the software.
