But gut wrenching about his end - and I admit that my eyes welled with tears - so tragic for a young man with a vision of where he wanted to go and such talent. It’s the sort of situation that makes one think - what if? Sliding doors moments. As I was listening, my mind went to his parents … did they know he could sing? Have they got copies of his songs so they can hear their son singing? It’s these things that can bring them back to us momentarily.

Hi Andrew. Kendall was singing and playing drums from the age of eight, so yes, his parents knew his talent. Still, what a yoke they must bear now. We had a lot of interesting conversations during our one collab, unlike most fiverr artists who use as few words as possible. He would send me links to videos of modern songs and ask if I could write a similar song. Of course, I only know how to write vintage stuff. But it was refreshing to know someone who was SO optimistic about life. I had forgotten what that felt like.
