Thanks Vic! I note there is not a lot of swing/shuffle or march music in contemporary music. I have heard the feel described as old-fashioned, which is a shame. I hadn’t thought about the playfulness of this style in the piece, but I can see how that can be heard that way.

Hi David! I think your image works with this piece. The trek from one location to another, erecting the tent, feeding the animals … a lot of the same type of routines in my own theme.

Thanks Chay! Maybe my singer’s voice was longing to come out way back then? A lot of nursery rhymes use the swing/triplet feel.
