Years ago PG Made the argument that we did not need to "worry" about such things. It didn't matter. Like deficits.
The software performed adequately.
We knew Rosetta was there. As a software developer, I thought Rosetta was stupid. But I know Lots of stupid stuff lives on in spite of my willingness to point out how wrong it is. Burdens we carry.

As i said BIAB has mostly worked just fine. The negligible performance difference some of us may have believed was there was, after all, negligible.

I got that same message the other day.
It bothers me a lot.

I'm wondering when we will hear something meaningful from PG.

PG Music has confirmed in one of the many other threads on this subject that they will not abandon their Intel market until they have to. I see no reason to doubt them on this. This means we will see a Native version of BIAB in 2028 and not before. They might surprise us but I don't expect a repeat of 2018 when they gave us a version that could be run in 32 or 64 bit (you had to select). Apple Silicon Native apps don't run over Intel and I don't expect them to release two different versions simultaneously.

If this bothers you well... be bothered, I guess.
