Appreciate the review and the Beatles comparison....though Paul McCartney might be slightly surprised to learn he was playing a Nashville waltz while eating grits!

Since the band played a textbook Nashville country waltz, but the vibe is apparently channeling mid-period Abbey Road heartbreak, I’ve decided to officially reclassify the song’s genre:

'Beatles-in-a-Pickup-Truck' (or strictly speaking: British-In-A-Boxcar)

It’s that delicate sweet spot where your drummer is sweeping brushes like he’s playing the Grand Ole Opry, but the singer is nursing a pint in a London pub and stubbornly pretending he isn't crying in his coffee.

So yeah, maybe it’s not strictly 'Country' down at the honky-tonk... but I think it's got enough certified post-breakup vindication to play on a jukebox located somewhere between Liverpool and Nashville.

Thanks for listen and comments and the genre-bending identity crisis!

best regards
