BiaB is a tool to address a different task, which it does extremely well.

What you want is an "Arranger". There are a couple or so software ones and a number of MIDI keyboards that do it.

vArranger might suit if an arranger keyboard is over budget.

BackupBand is also pretty good and easier to use, but it's Linux only and looks very "VGA Graphics". Overlook that and it's surprisingly good.
