I used to be too big to fit in 80 by 80 but I've involuntarily lost weight. Hoping to have turkey for Christmas and see the family and gain some back. Anyways, back to unpacking the touqes and hitting the flyers for snow tyres. Darned snow. I tried to tell the wife we should go to Cuba for a month but she wants to keep working. I suspect they have little snow there...from what I saw the last time. The north (where I wanted to retire) is no country for the unwell. I can't keep the wood split and the outhouse is further from the cabin than it used to be...although the kids say it never moved it takes me longer to go and to go. And to return. And go again. And after a snow you can't just poke out the back door, it leaves yellow traces.....darned snow.

Here I sit, a shadow of my former self. My teeth are put away for the night, I got aids..but they are in the wooden bowl on the dresser so I can't hear, and my hair is refusing to grow back. Ain't retirement grand!
