They will all work fine without RealTracks or RealDrums, but both do give you more flexibility in creating music. Just depends upon what you are trying to do, though. If you have space for the RealTracks and RealDrums, why not install them? PTPA will use RealDrums, but not RealTracks. BIAB will use both. Make sure you have the latest updates. And you can render to audio from BIAB, so you can still take advantage of RealTracks in PTPA that way.

But if you just have MIDI, it should work fine. You might get an error message if you inadvertently select a RealTracks-based style, but you should realize that when it happens.
