Midi drums always sounded too 'perfect', too exact for me. RealDrums are actual recordings of a drummer in a studio. Go here to give a listen. I think they have demos of all of the sets.

As for unfolding, that is what John means. Since you don't have the chorus dropdown which allows you to select a chorus, unfolding gets around that. It also gives you more control over other things such as part markers, etc.
