Using 2008.5.
I posted here a few weeks ago about the guitar not playing the proper chords...
Ran into a similar problems with the old standard 'Charade' using the JAZCOOL.STY.
The chord is a B7+5 - but the guitar plays a straight B7 (does not change the F# to a G)...
This is an important chord that sets up the verses....
Any thoughts on how I can fix this (besides upgrading to 2010)?

We had a recent tread similar to this - naming conventions can be strange. When you insert the "+" this looks like you want a an altered (alt) dominant chord. The alt refers to a dominant chord, "in which neither the fifth nor the ninth appears unaltered". – namely, where the 5th and the 9th are raised or lowered by a single semitone, or omitted.
So if I were your guitarist and you gave me a B7+5 or B7+, I would assume it was up to me to voice the chord (either b5 or #5) as I felt best and you would get what ever I came up with. Don't fire me.  Just be more specific. Since you indicate you want to raise the fifth (F# to G) then you would simply enter: B7#5

Sorry, I meant say B7#5... which is what is written in the file.
The piano is playing A Eb G B, which is correct.
The guitar plays B A Eb - omitting the 5th entirely.. so it doesn't 'clash' with the piano, but it does not give the proper sound that the #5 note gives....
Not a huge deal - just attempting to make sense of what is happening and why......
