Hi Rob,
Of course, it's best to have this set up in your midi files as mentioned above, but in a crunch you
can also turn GM mode on and off manually on your Stage. I think it's in the system menu. I don't have my Stage hooked up at the moment but if you have more problems just post back and I'll try to chase it down for you.
