Hallo,
ich bin Anfänger was BIAB und RealBand anbelangt. Ich weiß auch, dass es keine dummen Fragen gibt, nur dumme Antworten, aber irgendwie kommt mir meine Frage doch irgendwie dumm vor. Weil ich überhaupt nicht weiter komme, mit meinem Problem.
Das Ziel meiner Bemühungen ist, aus einem MP3-File die Bass-Noten zu extrahieren und irgendwie auf den Bildschirm zu bekommen (zum Lernen und Üben, bin Bassist). Im Idealfall würde die Anzeige dann auch im Gitarren-Fenster funktionieren.
Vielleicht gibt es ja zu diesem Thema ein Hilfe-Video oder sowas? Natürlich freue ich mich auch über alle anderen Tipps zu diesem Thema. Vielen Dank schon mal vorab!

sowas ist nicht machbar: Einzelne Noten eines einzelnen Instruments herausfiltern und korrekt zu erkennen. Es gibt zwar eine Software namens "Melodyne", die etwas in die diese Richtung geht, aber bei normalen, mehrstimmigen Songs als MP3-File düfte auch das nicht klappen. Das funktioniert nur bei einstimmigem Audiomaterial richtig.
Du könntest höchstens mal versuchen, den Song mit Hilfe eines Soundeditors zu bearbeiten. Dazu vom Frequenzsprektrum alles rausfiltern, was über und unter der Frequenz des Basses liegt. Die Datei mit dem übriggebliebenen Bass-Frequenzspektrum dann in den Audio-Akkord-Assistenten von BIAB laden. Die erkannten Akkorde, bzw. deren Grundtöne spielt dann der Bass - wenn der Assistent denn überhaupt noch was erkennt.
Das Ganze müsstest Du dann aber noch in MIDI umwandeln, damit im Gitarren-Fenster überhaupt was angezeigt wird. Ich glaube, das wird aber bei allem Aufwand trotzdem alles nicht richtig funktionieren. Versuche lieber, im Internet eine MIDI-Version der Songs zu finden. Da ist dann eine Bass-Spur dabei, deren Noten angezeigt werden können.

mann o mann... das ging ja rasend. Vielen Dank für deine schnelle Antwort!
Der von dir vorgaschlagene Weg mit den Midifiles ist exakt meine bisherige Vorgehensweise. Aber, mit meiner neuen Band funktioniert das nicht mehr. Die spielen einige (so ca. 20) selbst arrangierte Eigenkompositionen. Der Bassist hat aufgehört, Noten sind nicht vorhanden (hat er mit genommen), nur Aufnahmen. Also funktioniert das mit den Midifiles nicht.
Werd ich mal das mit der Frequenz-Filterung versuchen.

Eine Frequenzanalyse via Transcribe! kann eine ganz nützliche Alternative sein.

Hallo Otto,
stimmt, Transcribe hat sogar ein Setting, wo man mit einem Klick nur die Bass-Frequenzen hört (leider auch immer die Bass-Drum).
Am Ende musst Du aber immer alle Töne der freigestellten Basslinie selber erkennen und transcribieren. Automatisch geht auch da nix. Und wenn Du selber transcribieren kannst, dann könntest Du ja auch gleich selber eine Basslinie zu Eurem Song schreiben. Ein Jaco Pastorius, dessen Linien man nicht ändert, wird Dein verschwundener Vorgänger ja wohl nicht gewesen sein. Warum sich also sklavisch am alten Arrangement festhalten? Jeder Bassist spielt eben anders.
Wenn Du nicht selber schreiben oder transcribieren kannst oder willst, könntest Du aber auch die Akkorde, Songstruktur und Tempo (Das haben Deine Mitspieler ja) in BIAB eingeben, einen passenden BIAB-Style zu Eurer Musik wählen. Der "Bassist in a Box" generiert Dir dann automatisch eine Basslinie (oder beliebig viele). Die kannst Du Dir anzeigen lasen und auch ausdrucken. Es gibt gerade bei den RealTracks jede Menge gute Bassisten. Auch dafür wurde BIAB ja mal gemacht.

Hallo
ich arbeite genau aus dem Grund mit BiaB: Ich gebe die Band Akkorde ein und lasse mir vom BiaB Bassisten die Noten
ausdrucken: Unten Bass anklicken, dann um 1 Oktave nach oben (+12) da sind die Halbtöne gemeint und dann auf Vorschau und pdf ausdrucken

With Band-in-a-Box® 2026, we've released 202 incredible new RealTracks (in sets 468-488) in a variety of genres—featuring your most requested styles!
Jazz, Funk & World (Sets 468-475):
Our new jazz, funk & blues RealTracks include a groovin’ collection of RealTracks and RealDrums! These include more requested “soul jazz” RealTracks featuring artists Neil Swainson (bass), Charles Treadway (organ), Brent Mason (guitar), and Wes Little (drums). There are new “smooth jazz” styles (4), which include a RealTracks first: muted trumpet, as well as slick new smooth jazz brushes options for drums. Blues lovers will be thrilled—there are more “classic acoustic blues” styles, including guitar (5), bass (4), and drums (10) with blues master Colin Linden, featuring understated and tasty background acoustic soloing, plus brushes drums and acoustic bass. There is also a potpourri (14) of bouzouki, guitars, banjo, and more, perfect for adding texture and character to contemporary acoustic arrangements. We’ve added funky country guitar (5) with PG favorite Brent Mason, along with classic pedal steel styles (5) featuring steel great Doug Jernigan. There are more country songwriter styles (8) that provide intimate, rootsy foundations for storytelling and modern Americana writing.
