A lot of this stuff is cleared by closing RB and reopening. A lot of this is dependent on our individual systems but for me at least if I'm doing a lot of work in RB and I work with it a lot, it simply starts to slow down after a half hour or so and I'll continue working but then close it and reopen and all is well until it slows down again. I'm thinking it's something to do with a bunch of temp files created by doing a lot of edits. I will work in several tracks of a piece and move midi stuff around, delete, copy whatever. Audio too. Suddenly I notice things have slowed down like 50%. I will do a save evey few minutes. There's lots of little things that will start happening like in the piano roll, if I'm doing a lot of edits it will work fine until it suddenly jumps ahead a bunch of bars with a mouse click to activate an edit, it could be anything, deleting a note, changing velicites, whatever. Suddenly I'm on bar 23 when I just edited a note in bar 8 or something. That's one sign I need to close/reopen. To me RB is still a little funky in it's operation. I used to report these bugs but nothing's ever been done probably because it's mostly me and my system config. It basically works fine but I've learned to be aware of these things.
