Joan, I use Audacity to record. You need to know what you want to record, ie. Stereo and bit rate. Others are better suited than I to suggest why.

It makes it easier, for your whole project then is in the one application, and you can trim, fade in and out, and add effects.

But you can do the same in RealBand or some other DAW you might have.

Music Creator sold here, gives you the TTS-1 synth and a 'recording' package for $39.00, which if your system is 64 bit gives you the synth you don't have for the VSC Dxi won't work with 64 bit.
