I'm currently shopping for a Macbook, obstensibly for study but with the ulterior motive of having a reliable laptop for live performance with BIAB. I already have the Windows version (Everything PAK) and from reading other posts in this forum it seems to work fine under Bootcamp. However, I'm on a budget and was wondering if anyone out there uses the standard white Macbook (2.4Ghz, 2GB RAM, 250GB drive)rather than the Macbook Pro and does it play BIAB files with Real/Drum Tracks effectively and reliably? It seems to meet the required specs but then again, my PC has similar specs to the Macbook and occasionally crashes with BIAB . Most posts I've read here are from Macbook Pro users. I use a Line 6 UX1 audio USB interface so don't need firewire, although having problems with my audio settings which is a whole 'nother story...
