Like I said, a call to sales would be the official answer, but looking on the site I assume the upgrade DVD's from 2010 would include only those things you need to get current. Since you have the previous realtracks you wouldn't need 100 gig of DVD's, just the new stuff (which, again, will likely fit on the existing drive). But if you have 2009, you may need much more to get current.

The additional $40 for the drive (and therefore a good backup of all your existing realtracks) is a great deal and would probably be what I would choose.

Don't be surprised to find out that your 100gig of realtracks now only requires 30+ gig of space! That is one of the best new features in my opinion.
