Rachel I think it is the algorithm they used to 'compose' the realtracks and they realized that some stuff was too busy. There are specific realtracks in the release that play in a simpler fashion, and there are some bass parts that applies to.

In the end, the best development is the basic engine allowing the tracks to be stretched or shortened allowing for a wider range of raw file usage, so the 'shrink' program knows that 80 bpm can be 160 or 40 so it gets rid of the stuff that you have that was in there at 90 and 100 etc.
