And Lloyd, when you say "Forte or Coyote", that requires a clarification.

BIAB ships with the free Coyote Wavetable for 64-bit systems, for the reasons given above. It simply makes use of the Microsoft synth in Windows (and hence does not sound all that great, but at least it works). Coyote also makes a product called Coyote Forte. You can buy this for (I think it's still) $40. This will sound very much better than the Coyote Wavetable and, in my opinion, better than the VSC would have.

There are other software synth options, and of course, then there is hardware...
