I'm playing at a wedding in February and I'm searching for "Canon in D" with melody in BIAB. Can anyone send me in the right direction? Thanks!

Hi - I don't have but a snippet - but if you have no luck here, I'm sure you can Google a MIDI file for it and import it into BIAB. Then a little work to get right for your needs. Good luck.

I have them playing this on a recording. Lovely.
When I was in college over 40 years ago, I directed the college's brass choir. You've got to really respect these guys. It would be a lot of fun to play in a group like this one!

Like many of us, I have plenty of musical weaknesses. The job of a pro player is to figure out how not to let the audience know that. But, then, I'm not playing for you!

STR_QT44.STY - Simple String Quartet 4/4:
Memo: This style emulates a String Quartet playing in 4/4 tempo. Tempo range 50-200.
Examples: Wedding March, Rule Brittania, Pachelbel's Canon
Here the recommended BIAB style for Pachelbel's Canon if you can find a good midi for the melody and chords you are half way there.

The humour, if you have some music background, was Ground Bass.
Usually 4 to 8 measures, repeats itself. Sort of hypnotic if done right.
Thus sitting on the ground, watering stuff on the ground, being bored, sleepy, going for a break, and getting watered. It was a musical joke. Not like Mozart's though.

Yeah, exactly. I did a wedding 3 or 4 years ago and the bride wanted Canon in D. I think I've done maybe 3 weddings in my life. I never heard of it but while I was on the phone with her, I found an mp3 on the web and played it for her using my studio monitors and put the phone next to the speaker and she said yes that was it. Even though I didn't recognize the name as soon as I heard it I recognized it, it is a very famous classic. I then found the sheet for it on some website, printed it and learned it. It's not that difficult with the recording and music to work with.
For the OP, there must be a Biab or midi file available somewhere. If you have a problem check out Allanah's website.

Gary I see that early in February the Canadian Brass is in Seattle. And if Matt is interested they have a gig an hour or so from him in December. Actually 2 concerts in NY, one in Troy the other in Tarrytown.

Yes, thanks, they are each 90 minutes from me, different directions. I'll have to look and see if the Troy one is in the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall. Probably - it's one of the best acoustic halls in the country. I loved playing there.

Yes, I was saying, "A bank", but those guys are not very commercial, except for selling arrangements and CD's.
Like I don't think playing in a band is something they would do, but I have.....
