Hi loungeblues - Your mention of Canon in D seems to set off a lot of wedding talk.

Anyway, I found a BIAB version of it that may fill your needs, but might need a little work. If interested, PM me and I'll send it to you.

Now to get into the discussion, Pachelbel was a generation before Bach and a fine composer. But only one of his tunes, the Canon, is well known. And very well known. You will hear the 8-chord changes (or at least parts)in many pop and folk songs. And everyone in every genre takes a whack at it. I have a CD called "Pachelbel's Greatest Hit" which a compilation of various artist of various genres. When I used to play it I would throw in a few blues rounds. Nobody likes it. My favorite piano version is by George Winston. And he plays it in C! He calls it "Variations on the Kanon by Pachelbel"
