Since the 2011 version includes Brent Mason and other great players, how about vocal tracks generated by The Blenders, the current Four Freshmen, Manhattan Transfer, gospel choirs, or similar groups? Far fetched, or a possibility?

I'd love to have some pop-oriented "Oooh" and "Aaah" RealTracks. Stuff by America comes to mind, although the syncopated "doo"s would probably translate to a limited set of music. Songs like Muskrat Love and Tin Man with more generic "Oooh"s are probably better examples. In theory you should be able to do the same thing with good samples, but it doesn't really work out.

Gospel choirs would be an outstanding addition. Lot of gospel players on here that would relish that idea.

It would be great to have some vocal real tracks with oooh, aaah, yeah, hmmmm, doo, dah, dit, hah hah, aah, etc.
And don't forget the shots and holds.

Elvis Presley respected the Jordanaires so much he included their name on the lable of at least one of his hits where they provided the back-up vocals. They backed a long list of other top performers of their time, including Patsy Cline. I'd love to have a Jordanaires-like back-up vocal track. I know I should be able to get there with the T.C. Helicon harmony plug-in from Band In A Box (which looks like it can be accessed from Real Band), but it would be much easier and most likely sound much better if I could call it in from a Real Track. Besides, my voice is a deep baritone, and I couldn't sound like the Chordettes ('Mr. Sandman' and 'Lollipop')no matter how much gender bending signal processing was applied. Yes I'd like both male and female vocal back-ups, plus at least one mixed.

I would think asking for some kind of vocoder emulation would be a little too far out of bounds? Oooh and aaah is find but when about when you need harmonies singing lyrics and not ooh and aah?
(PS I HAVE a vocoder and it saves my over-sized keester a lot.....)

Gospel voices can be used for a lot of different styles of music. Worth a thought surely

The Yamaha Tyros 4 has nice live sounding vocals added to the styles, so if it is possible to do that for an live arranger it should be even easier for BIAB

I was making a version of the old Bee Gees "How do you mend a broken heart" the other night, and to get really tight vocals i recorded thru my TC Helicon Voice works box with Only one voice active, and the lead voice muted, i recorded a 3rd, and a fifth to separate tracks, and then mixed and blended. Sometimes your own voice starts to sound bad in some songs and it takes a bit of tweaking, like gender, and huminizing to get it right, but for Bee Gees since they were brothers the familiar tones lending to Voice works nicely.

I just read about the latest BIAB upgrade today. Yes, I'm sure I'll upgrade before July passes. However, it's interesting to me that no vocal real tracks have appeared as yet. Is that because of less interest in such real tracks? Or, are they difficult to create compared to guitars, keyboards, etc..? Or, maybe there are other reasons. Maybe some this December? Someone mentioned the Yamaha Tyros 4 and its vocal components. The styles in the T4 are impressive to me, since the vocal parts add so much to a rhythm track.
