The Elastique stretch engine works fine here running XP SP3 on an AMD turion laptop, BTW. I think your machine will handle the load just fine.

Aren't use +/- and HQ stretch engine TWO DIFFERENT OPTIONS in RT prefs???

On my XP system, enabling +/- seemed to be OK, but enabling HQ stretching hung program up.

I have a XP system with P4 at 2.4 mHZ only one gig RAM.
